Rates
For designation as mediator for Superior Court Civil matters, Family Divorce and Equitable Distribution, and Clerk of Court
(whether through agreement upon by the parties, or appointed by the Court administrator)
Administrative Fee of $175, hourly rate $150.
There is no fee for travel.
Cancellation fees are based upon Rule 7(E) (4) of the Rules governing settlement conferences in N.C. but may be waived for good cause.
For matters arising outside the court system
There is no charge for a consultation.
Administrative fee of $200 plus $150 an hour for mediation.
There is no fee for travel so long as the distance is within an hour and a half from Chapel Hill.
Payment is due upon the conclusion of each session, or as agreed.
Cancellations reported less than 30 days in advance of a confirmed reservation are subject to a cancellation fee equal to and in addition to the administrative fee.
